WELCOME TO THE NEW CHILI CITY!

With great excitement the Hanover Exchange Club has accepted the baton passed by Chili John to plan and manage the Hanover Chili Cook Off, a community fund raising event. John had a great run planning and managing this community fund raising event but granddaughters call and he must obey.

Over the year past five (5) years, the Cook Off has donated over $300,000 to local nonprofit organizations and entertained chili fans in Chili City, PA. The Exchange Club is resolute to retain that effort for the good of all.

Keep an eye out for more information as the September 4 event date draws closer. The Exchange Club’s mission statement: Exchange, America’s Service Club, is a group of men and women working together to make our communities better places to live through programs of service in Americanism, Community Service, Youth Activities, and its national project, the Prevention of Child Abuse.

The Hanover Exchange Club’s most recent project was hosting of the 20 th Anniversary 9/11 Healing Field ® in Hanover that featured 3,000 American flags, each bearing the name of an American life lost that day.
The Hanover Chili Cook Off is expected to create over $60,000 that will be donated to selected local charities that touch the lives of thousands of local residents every month. Welcome to the new Chili City, PA!
