With meager results early on, this event has grown and grown. In fact, over the years the Cook Off has donated over $500,000 to local non-profit organizations.

From the beginning it was determined the HART Center and Guthrie Memorial Library would be the principal beneficiaries of the Cook Off. Get to know these organizations.

The H.A.R.T. Center is a private, not-for-profit vocational rehabilitation facility located in New Oxford, PA.
The H.A.R.T. Center provides a variety of work training experiences for adults with disabilities in Adams and western York Counties. Currently, the H.A.R.T. Center serves 145 individuals who have a diagnosis of developmental disabilities, chronic mental illness and /or are physically challenged.
An investment in the H.A.R.T. Center is an investment in your community.

H.A.R.T. Center Mission
The mission of the H.A.R.T. Center is to provide each participant with opportunities for personal growth and increased self-dependency with regard to work skills. Individuals choose to pursue competitive employment whenever possible. In addition, the H.A.R.T. Center offers extended work training programs to individuals needing more support and structure to reach their vocational goals.

Guthrie Memorial Library – Hanover’s Public Library is a welcoming environment representing education, recreation and progress while forming a cultural connection that joins people through text, technology, and meeting spaces. The library welcomes approximately 200,000 people annually. In 2014, we loaned 306,209 materials and provided public access computers to over 24,000 people.
