This 16th Annual Hanover Chili Cook Off has the promise of being the best event ever! “CHILI for CHARITIES”

Over the past few years, there have been unfounded accusations of the Cook Off depleting the Earth’s ozone layer two ounces at a time. Not true! The Cook Off does provide significant funding for a number of local nonprofit organizations that touch many lives in the Hanover area. The Guthrie Memorial Library registers over 24,000 patron visits monthly. The Hanover Council of Churches strives to serve the neediest of our community by serving over 4,000 meals every month and operating a year-round shelter for the homeless. The HART Center provides a safe working environment for 150 adults with disabilities. Also, on the donation list have been the Adams and York County SPCAs, the Codorus State Park Friends group, independent food banks, as well as area residents under the severe financial and emotional stress of waiting for heart transplants.

Come out and do your part for the Hanover Community, and deplete some ozone.
